Foehrb produces instrumental music and djs at parties, in clubs, at exhibitions and cultural events
In 2002 he started djing and producing in the WDSR Studios Überlingen which could be seen as the basement of the Mala Hierba Community at the lake of constance. Closely connected to Hip Hop, the main activity was to produce „beats“ and to play as a live dj at rap gigs. Band projects (drums) and experimental art projects followed.
In 2007 and 2008, in cooperation with the rapper „Coehn“, he released first an EP „Mit der Schaufel auf’s Ei“ and second the Album „Die Tugend von Heute“. Both can be downloaded for free under creative commons license (see web page below).
Meanwhile, Foehrb is based in Berlin. Playing Dj Sets in the circles of Dubstep, Jazz, Funk and Hip Hop, he also produces such hybrid jazz fragmented music. Furthermore he works on experimental subjects close to soundscape experiments, urban sound and electro acoustic pieces. A solo instrumental release is planned for 2011.
